Rheumatology for arthritis and other conditions

Don’t Live with Pain—Get the Relief of Living Freely!

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease in which your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body and causes inflammation. This can cause severe pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints, and if left untreated can even impact other parts of the body like the heart, lungs, or eyes.

Griffin Faculty Physicians can relieve your pain, prevent joint damage, and give you the freedom to move how you want to move again. RA can be debilitating and frustrating, especially as it begins to impact your ability to perform daily activities and enjoy your favorite hobbies. Luckily, there are many highly effective treatment and management options for RA.

Treat it early, treat it better

RA has no known cure, but with an individualized treatment plan, you can significantly reduce pain and flare ups while also preventing deterioration of the joint. The key to successfully treating RA is to see a doctor sooner rather than later. If the pain or stiffness in your joints starts to impact your normal activities, you should see a rheumatologist as soon as possible.
