Our practice is committed to improving accessibility and safety through shorter waiting times for urgent needs, enhanced office hours to meet the needs of our busy patients as well as around-the-clock telephone coverage and electronic access to medical information. We are guided by evidence-based medicine and use the most advanced systems to keep track of your care, including medical records and electronic prescriptions. Plus, our patients will be provided with a care summary and appropriate educational materials on every visit.

As an affiliate of Griffin Hospital, we follow the principles of Planetree Inc., a consumer healthcare organization dedicated to humanizing health care. The primary focus of Planetree is to deliver healthcare in a manner that works best for patients. In this patient-centered approach to healthcare, our physicians partner with patients and their family members to identify and satisfy the full range of patient needs and preferences. Patient-centered care is the core of a high-quality health care system and a necessary foundation for safe, effective, efficient, timely, and equitable care.

Additionally, Griffin Faculty Physicians is taking part in an innovative program to improve primary care for our patients by working to become an Advanced Primary Care Practice, also known as a “Patient Centered Medical Home.” This program is recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a model for superior primary care that is comprehensive, patient-centered, coordinated, and accessible while remaining committed to quality and safety. By taking part in this program, we will be able to help our patients manage their health needs, through wellness programs, management of chronic conditions and coordination of specialist care. Our goal is for all of our patients to get healthy and stay healthy!
